Sabbath Rest Study

In Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus famously said, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (11:28).

This promise from Jesus is one that has captured the
attention of many over the years, and in today’s fast-paced, high performance, workaholic world, it can almost have a haunting sound to it, as though it is something too good to be true.

Many people today resonate deeply with this desire for rest, and desire to understand how to experience this true “rest for your souls” (vs. 29) about which Jesus spoke. In this study, we’ll be exploring various passages that address the idea of rest and Sabbath. These passages will help to shed light on, and tell the story of, rest through Scripture.
